WELCOME TO MONALISA MONEY MONDO

OUR STORY

I started collecting banknotes from the countries of the Middle East, specifically those from the French colonies. It was the beautiful and colorful designs of those notes that increased my passion to get even more involved in collecting banknotes. One of my favorite notes is the so called the “carpet” note from Lebanon, the 100 Livres, 1945. As time elapsed, I expanded my interest in the countries surrounding the Middle East and finally got to the world bank notes. Collecting banknotes is a pure educative and relaxing hobby. You can spend hours and hours in arranging and studying each banknote and learning the message behind each design. Famous personalities (political and non political), monuments, palaces, sceneries, plants, animals, industry, music, people’s daily life, history, events… are all reflected on the banknotes of a country.

Monalisa Money Mondo was established in 2014, and has since been active on eBay in a wide range. We have a big stock of specimen and issued notes, of which 95% are graded by PMG and PCGS.
